The PTO will be hosting our first General PTO Meeting tonight, Monday, September 12 at 6:15 pm in the cafeteria and we'd love to see you there!  Come hear about the exciting activities the PTO has planned for the coming year and how you can participate.  All parents and guardians are invited to attend this meeting (young siblings welcome, too).  We'll have light snacks available to eat and everyone who attends will be entered into a raffle to win a prize!

"Let's Glow Panthers" is our Invest in the Best theme for 2022! Our Invest in the Best checkwriting campaign kicks off today and ends on Friday, September 30th, with our annual Panther Party! The Pearre Creek Elementary PTO depends on the strong financial commitment and dedication of friends, families, and corporate members of the community. The Invest in the Best campaign is an opportunity for parents and all friends and family of our students to make a tax-deductible donation to the Pearre Creek PTO.  

The PTO goal this year is to raise $65,000 for our school!  As our students begin this new school year, it is essential to ensure they have the resources necessary to thrive in this new learning environment. This year’s wish list includes funding for items such as: 

• Book Buddy Bags
• Quick Word booklets
• Decodable text for phonics
• Elmo document cameras to show printed materials on Promethean boards

In addition, the funds are used to purchase class t-shirts (coming home this week!), fund monthly teacher lunches (you are no longer asked to provide these by your room parents) and the $25 per student fee that you no longer as asked to pay.

To celebrate the end of our Invest in the Best checkwriting campaign, the PTO will be hosting our Annual Panther Party on Friday, September 30th, from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm in the school parking lot.  We will have food trucks, a DJ, games and fun activities for the whole family!  Mrs. Alexandrow will get slimed once again if we meet our Invest goal!

Back by popular demand, you have the opportunity once again to make your child or teacher feel special on their birthday, half birthday or a date of your choice by ordering a Birthday Gram to be delivered to their classroom!  Your $20 order includes a “Happy Birthday” serenade performed by 5th grade students after morning announcements, a birthday hat, an ice cream themed goody bag with a Sweethaven gift certificate for a small cup of ice cream with sprinkles, and a commemorative polaroid picture.
