MAKE THINGS HAPPEN - JOIN THE PTO BOARD

The PCES community and its' parent involvement are vital to our outstanding school. The PTO Nominations Committee is working to identify parents to serve on the PTO Board of Directors for 2023 - 2024. Open positions on the 2023 - 2024 Board include: 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Treasurer, and Community Development.

The PTO also has many coordinator/committee positions to fill for next year. There are positions for every schedule, skill set, and interest including, but not limited to: Grade Level Representatives, Event Planning (e.g., Boo Hoo Yahoo Breakfast, Panther Party, STREAM Night, Boo Bingo, Family Dance, etc.), Fundraising (e.g., Invest in the Best, Rock the Creek), and many others.

RSVP Now for the Family Fun Dance on February 10th

Please join us for Pearre Creek PTO's first annual Family Fun Dance on Friday, February 10th, 2023, from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm in the school gymnasium. All families are welcome to attend! Our theme this is "Western-style" and we encourage everyone to wear boots, hats and other Western-inspired attire. We will have a DJ, line dancing, fun games and free snacks for everyone to enjoy. STREAM Night is February 23rd

Join in super-charged fun and exploration at this year's S.T.R.E.A.M Night on Thursday, Feburary 23rd from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. The evening will feature hands-on science, math, and art activities for kids of all ages, presentations from Innovation Expo participants, and other learning adventures! Some of the activities will include robots, drones flying in the gym, climbing wall, making a catapult, castle building and more!

Don't forget to pre-order your Marco's one topping large pizzas for $10 now. The cafeteria will be available for families to eat and drinks will be sold the night of the event. Place your order here! No pizzas will be sold at STREAM Night so pre-order now!

Volunteer and Sponsor Appreciation Breakfast on February 28th

The Pearre Creek PTO will be hosting a Volunteer and Sponsor Appreciation Breakfast along with a General PTO Meeting on Tuesday, February 28th from 9:00 am - 10:00 am in the school cafeteria.

Any school volunteers (room parent, sight words, volunteered with PTO activities, helped with school lunches) and sponsors are invited to attend. Food and coffee will be served. Please RSVP to attend here.

Hillsboro Night of the Arts

On February 9th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Hillsboro Elementary Middle School is having an event called Night of the Arts. Night of the Arts is a fundraiser for Hillsboro's fine arts department. They are going to have performances from their band, orchestra, theater department, choir and dance team. Artwork from their K-8th students will be on display as well as a silent auction. All are welcome to attend this event! This is a great opportunity for students and parents to visit Hillsboro. Medium and large sized pizza that are pre-ordered will be available.
