Help us kick off the school year by welcoming new and returning students to our wonderful school! Volunteers are needed for 1-2 hour shifts. Please note that you do NOT need Tier 3 volunteer status for most of these opportunities.

Volunteers are needed for the following:

• Kindergarten Assessments - August 1st and 4th (Tier 3 status only).

 What Do I Need To Do To Be a Tier 3 Volunteer?  Throughout the school year, Pearre Creek will need parents to volunteer in the classroom, help with student lunches and in the front office! Volunteer opportunities like chaperoning field trips and assisting in the school require Tier 3 Volunteer approval through Williamson County Schools. The Tier 3 Volunteer approval process includes a criminal background fingerprint check, a volunteer application, and a confidentiality agreement. All Pearre Creek families are members of the PTO and will receive exclusive access to the school directory when you create or update an account on the PTO website.  This is very helpful when planning social functions, birthday parties, etc.  The directory is only available online through our website and the FREE Membership Toolkit app. The app is available from the Apple Store and in Google Play. Within the app, you can text, call, email, and look up addresses of other Pearre Creek families.

Get a jump on back-to-school preparations by updating (or creating) your account on the PCES PTO website now. You need to do this before you can place orders for the back to school picnic, purchase birthday grams or buy merchandise, etc. Select "incoming student" as the teacher for your student. Then, update your account in August when teachers are assigned.  An updated account is needed every year to receive PTO communications, emails from your room parents, and to be included in your child’s class directory. Update your information here! 

Mark your calendars to attend the Pearre Creek Back to School Popsicle Party that will be held on Thursday, July 31st from 4:30-6:00. Pop on over to Pearre Creek to meet your teacher, see your classroom and have a Popsicle on the playground!

Are you interested in being a Room Parent?

Would you like to volunteer to be a Room Parent for your child's class this academic year?  Room Parents send monthly emails to all parents in the class detailing important class information and helping to share PTO news and upcoming events.  Room Parents organize class playdates in the fall and spring, as well as classroom parties in December and May.  Room Parents also assist with teacher appreciation gifts.  If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the interest form below by July 30th.  

Once Room Parents have been assigned, you will be directly contacted by the PTO Room Parent Coordinator Elizabeth Dowling.  There will be a Room Parent Training on Wednesday, August 6th in the PCES Cafeteria.  Please note Tier 3 status is required.

We're seeking volunteers from each neighborhood - Barclay Place, Franklin Green, Spencer Hall, Tywater Crossing, Willow Springs - that feeds into Pearre Creek to serve on the PTO's Community Development Team.  This team helps raise awareness of PTO activities and fosters support of the communities!

Back by popular demand, you have the opportunity once again to make your child or teacher feel special on their birthday, half birthday or a date of your choice by ordering a Birthday Gram to be delivered to their classroom!  Your $25 order includes a “Happy Birthday” serenade performed by 5th grade students after morning announcements, a birthday button to wear all day, an ice cream themed goody bag with a Sweethaven gift certificate for a small cup of ice cream with sprinkles, and a commemorative polaroid picture.
